The list of similar complaints is long and the whistleblower’s complaint has been forwarded by the CVC to CVO of GAIL for further investigation. The complainant has prayed that as IGL is headed by the Managing Director of GAIL (India) Limited, who is a public servant and comes under the purview of the CVO of GAIL (India) Limited, he should conduct a free and fair investigation against the Managing Director of IGL, who holds the position of Executive Director of GAIL (India) Limited and has been nominated as Managing Director in IGL.
