Army Recruitment Scandal : CBI registers case against Colonel and 3 Lieutenant Colonels
Case pertains to allegations of illegalities committed in recruitment of around 54 MATES in MES, Jhansi during 2012

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against then Commander Working Engineer(CWE), Military Engineering Services(MES), Jhansi; two then DCWE, MES, Jhansi; then Garrison Engineer, MES, Gwalior and other unknown public servants & other unknown persons on the allegations of illegalities committed in the recruitment of around 54 MATES in MES, Jhansi during 2012.
CBI spokesperson R C Joshi said searches were conducted at Pune(Maharashtra), Porbandar(Gujarat) & New Delhi at the premises of the accused which led to recovery of incriminating documents and other documents pertaining to investment made in movable/immovable properties.
Name of the accused:
i) Col.Arvind Parashar, then CWE, MES(Jhansi)
ii) Lt.Col.R.R.Negi, then DCWE, MES(Jhansi)
iii) Lt.Col.A.K.Singh, then DCWE, MES(Jhansi)
iv) Lt.Col.D.S.Rawat, then Garrison Engineer, MES(Gwalior)
v) Unknown public servant and unknown persons
