The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Ghaziabad has directed Kavi Nagar Police Station to register a case against against Dadri resident Ashok Sharma and his associates, who were trying to extort money from the family of a deceased contractor of Ghaziabad city. In fact, the former chairman of the nationwide body of railway contractors ‘IRIPA’ and the MD of BM Construction Company, Mr. Balkishan Sharma was constructing the Dhobighat Bridge connecting Vijay Nagar with the old city. On May 11 last year, Mr. Sharma died of corona. The block was being prepared for ROB last night, when some anti-social elements threatened the workers and engineers working on the bridge and said that the owner of your company did not give 10 lakh rupees to Ashok Sharma, we will not permit work to continue.

It is alleged that Ashok Sharma threatened Balkishan Sharma’s wife Anjana Sharma. When she refused to accept the demand, he lodged a false complaint with Kavi Nagar Police Station. Surprisingly, the police registered a case against Balkishan Sharma, who had passed away a year ago, for assault and threatening to kill him. himself. The son of the deceased, who is now handling the business of his late father, was also named in the FIR.

On getting information about the FIR, Balkishan Sharma’s wife Anjana Sharma along with some fellow lawyers reached Kavinagar Police Station and demanded to see Ashok Sharma face to face. The police called Ashok Sharma, who did not recognize Anjana Sharma. He also admitted in front of the police that he had never seen Suryansh Sharma, the son of the deceased contractor.

Surprisingly, despite this, the police did not register the report presented by Anjana Sharma. The police kept on giving assurance to file a report and teach a lesson to Ashok Sharma, but no legal action was taken.

Anjana Sharma, then filed a petition in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Ghaziabad. The CJM, after a complete hearing, issued orders to the Kavi Nagar police station in-charge to immediately register an FIR on the complaint of Anjana Sharma and investigate the case thoroughly.
