Authorities seize narcotics valued at ₹150 crore in Greater Noida; Four suspects arrested

They planned to distribute through agents, online platforms, and even shopping applications, DCP Khan

The Noida police cracked down on a drug syndicate, seizing methamphetamine valued at ₹150 crore from Mathurapur in Greater Noida. Four Nigerian nationals were apprehended in connection with the operation.
According to authorities, the haul included 26 kg of the drug, along with equipment such as condensation jars, de-freezers, face respirators, hoses, as well as raw materials and chemicals used in the drug’s production.
The investigation unfolded after the police received reports of suspicious activities at a residence in Omicron-1. Upon arrival, they discovered that the suspects—identified as Ifeanyi Johnbosco, Chidi, Emmanuel, and Onyekechi—had rented the premises to set up a factory-like operation.
DCP Saad Miya Khan of Greater Noida stated that the accused were running a drug distribution network, intending to export their products to educational institutions in Delhi-NCR, several northeastern states in India, and contacts in European countries.
“They planned to distribute through agents, online platforms, and even shopping applications,” DCP Khan explained.
Authorities believe the accused selected the secluded location to evade detection.
