Contaminated Momos: 20 People Fall Sick In Greater Noida After Eating Momos, Food Joint Shut Down
The food joint, “Madam Momo” was ordered to close until further notice pending compliance with regulations.
At least 20 people fell sick in Greater Noida after consuming allegedly contaminated momos.
The incident was reported from Greater Noida West’s Tech Zone-4, Saviour GreenArch Society.
According to the reports, about 20 individuals fell sick after consuming momos on Friday.
The reports further say that Assistant Commissioner Of Food Archana Dheeran took action after being informed about two children becoming sick after consuming the unhygienic momos.
“During the inspection, the cleanliness and other standard compliances were found to be unsatisfactory, for which the operator was issued a notice. The food joint, “Madam Momo” was ordered to close until further notice pending compliance with regulations.
Samples of paneer momos and chicken momos were obtained at the location for quality assessment from where they were forwarded to the state laboratory for analysis, Once the test results are available, appropriate action will be employed, says the report further.
